I have spent some time, since yesterday, to ask myself that question and also taking the time to look "around",... many definitions... lots of words saying what women are supposed, or are expected to be... no even one definition, other than a female human being... wow! really?
There are many examples in human history that could have been used, however, the events on March 8th in the US has been used for many years to "commemorate", yes, I don't agree with the fact that we "celebrate", we commemorate "Women's Day", and once again, surprisingly, the webs and/ or articles that I've read, filled pages with a long list of adjectives, qualities... but, let me ask you again.... what does it mean to be a woman? For you, sister, mother, daughter, cousin, grandma, granddaughter, out there, have you ever asked that question to yourself???
Well, let's see... for me being a woman is a force, and immeasurable, creative, strong, wild, instinctive, protective, loving, nurturing FORCE. Yes, because we are all that, at the same time. Please, do not associate me with red roses (even though it is my favorite flower) no, think about a woman as a storm, the quietness before and the desvastation after, think about a woman as the sun, luminous, warm, and extremely hot. Like the water: balancing, adaptative, flowing and unmanageable as well. As the fire, able to transmute, transform, change, melt, combine... Like the wind... a gentle breeze in your face and hair, or an overbearing hurricane.
I could continue, I don't think it will be necessary... you got the picture... just to end, keep in mind that we are a force, which strength and power has not and won't be ever stopped.
