About Reiki Heavenly Beams
My name is Teresa, and I’ve been a qualified practitioner of the ancient Japanese healing practice of Reiki for the past fifteen years. However, my spiritual journey began seven years prior when I migrated from Argentina to Canada.
Getting used to a new country, proved a real challenge, and I often felt that life was getting me down and becoming too stressful. I was in search of something to lift the dark clouds, and this is when I discovered Reiki.
Reiki is an alternative medicine which provides energy healing. A technique incorporating the palms is used to create a universal force, which enhances emotional and physical healing.
It had a profound effect on my state of mind and helped me bounce back with newfound vigor. I soon decided that I wanted to help as many people as possible who were stuck in a rut to get back on their feet. So I got certified, registered, and licensed, before setting up my Reiki studio.
My studio is well located in the GTA and is easily accessible by public transportation. I conduct seminars in community centers, and parks when weather permits. I also visit clients’ homes in Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Newmarket, Oshawa, Oakville, Ajax.
I’m available seven days a week from 10 am to 7 pm, as my work feels as natural to me as breathing.
The Reiki Heavenly Beams Difference
My Reiki studio allows people to find a safe, sacred spot to relax so they can achieve maximum benefits from the session, while private classes have the advantage of enjoying practice in a one-on-one environment.
Clients have the flexibility to choose which venue is more convenient and are offered a way to set themselves free from old traditions and behavioral patterns, to overcome trauma and addictions, and to cope differently with challenging situations. I empower them with the tools so that they can envision a positive way forward.
I set the importance of having a Reiki community to support each other. I also regularly search for new methods, read about scientific studies, and compare notes with colleagues to provide the best possible workshops.
Certificates that have international recognition are provided to those who complete my training either as a Reiki practitioner or master teacher. I’m part of the Canadian Reiki Association board of directors and recognized as a practitioner by the European Reiki Federation.
It also makes me proud to be the only Reiki Master Teacher who teaches in public schools through the Continuing Education Program for adults offered by the TDSB. It’s these factors that have added to my success over the years.
One of my most significant achievements is being able to spread my wings beyond my neighborhood. My personal goal is to be a better version of myself every day and want to become a teacher that I would have loved.
My dream for the future is to keep growing and evolving by enrolling myself in new seminars. I also plan to visit Japan soon, to meet leading practitioners of Reiki, so that my personal path of enlightenment can continue.
